 Todd Hiser is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) trained as an executive coach at the Co-Active Training Institute (CTI) completing over 200 hours of training and completing their rigorous certification program.  As an executive coach he works to empower internal and external clients to achieve higher achievement, a deeper connection and fulfillment in the workplace and in life.  He finds joy in helping other people find their happiness and fulfillment, dating back to the days when he coached youth sports and now helping professionals with complex challenges.

Todd also works for the US Commercial Service, as part of the International Trade Administration in the US Department of Commerce assisting US companies expand their sales overseas for the past ten years.  He also co-leads the Executive Coaching Program which has been awarded the Department's Silver Medal Award and recently the prestigious ICF International Prism Award in 2020 (see blog post for details on the ICF Prism Award).

Prior to that he worked at a manufacturer of packaging equipment, from November 1990 thru October 2008, working his way up from customer service representative to General Manager of the entire organization during that period.  By 1995, he was Vice President of International Sales and Marketing where Todd's efforts were recognized by the Packaging Machinery Manufacturer's Institute (PMMI) for the "Most Dramatic Growth in Exports" and awarding him an "Export Achievement Award" in 1996.  Then in May of 1998, he was recognized by the Governor of Ohio, then George Voinovich, with the 1998 Governor's Excellence in Exporting award for increasing export sales by over 220 percent and signing on distributors throughout the world.

Todd was promoted to General Manager in 2001 and was responsible for all of the P&L functions of the manufacturing organization as well as driving the sales team directly.  During the 18 years in packaging, he traveled extensively around the world and set up distribution in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and both North and South America.

During his career in both the private and public sectors, Todd has learned first hand that the most important thing in any business is cultivating a culture of trust and empowering the workforce.  "Surround yourself with great people and empower them to excel!"

Mr. Hiser earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1990, majoring in Political Science with a minor in Economics.  In 1995, he complemented this degree by earning his master’s degree in Business Administration at Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, Ohio.
